The Wm. Loughman Forestry in 2017 saw the two Moffet brothers competing for the top position. It was inevitable that these two would be capable of offering up an action packed day but, early on, it was Josh who set the pace and Sam who fought diligently throughout the day to tray regain 0.6 seconds on his brother who ultimately took the overall title in the Fiesta R-5. The Irish Tarmac Champion Keith Cronin tried his best but in the end, he had to settle for third overall. With this being the first round of the Suirway Group South East Stages and the Valvoline Irish Forestry Championship, it gave us an insight as to what we might expect for the rest of the 2017 year. The Carrick on Suir Motor Club Ltd is delighted to announce the Willie Loughman Forest Rally 2017 is GO.
We are re-publishing the Regulations to reflect the new Insurance increases / Levies from Motorsport Ireland
which weren't available on initial Publication of the Regulations.
The Increases are as follows:
25% onto the Public Liability Insurance
25% onto the I.R.D.S
50% onto the Insurance Levy
The Entry Fees are now as follows:
€550 plus €75 Insurance Levy up to February 1st 2017 rising to €575 plus €75 Insurance Levy.
There is a special price for Entrants into the new J1000 Class 21 which is be €325 plus €75 Insurance Levy
